I would like to mod mine zalman coolers

Zalman CNPS7700Cu and VF700Cu

like to do dark chrome on the heatsinks like a Zalman CNPS9500Cu AM2

how to do it, is there any chemical reaction to do it yourself, or take them to someone with machine for apply chrome on metal.

This doesnt seem like a worthwhile DIY project. With all the time and money spent on thinking and doing, might as well buy the real thing.
