You should at least consider telling them that since they broke their privacy policy and gave out your information with no intention of remedying the situation, you'll be keeping their hard drive because that's just a breach of their financial policy. Perhaps also mention it's cheaper for them to lose a hard drive than it is to lose a lawsuit.

Serra is right and so are almost everyone on here.
Suing is the right course of action in this instance.
They broke the law... big time, especially if their
info says the do not give it out (your info).

    Edit:
ZipZoomfly does not rent, trade, loan, or sell your personal information, or any other information which may identify you, to third parties.
They didn't trade, sell, rent, or load out your info...

How do you know ZZF gave them your info?!

Once they saw it was delivered on tracking, a quick call to FedEx to find out where it was delivered is a very easy thing to do. Then all they have to do is go to whitepages and see who lives there and give them a ring. FedEx DOES give out this information as well, as they have no Privacy Agreement (that I'm aware of at least).

Oh, you guys haven't realized? Zipzoomfly did kinda stick to their policy ... they didn't give it out arbitrarily. But you know, when you complain, some untrained responder could have been like "Are you sure your address isn't blah blah blah?" With the address, and only the address, you can stalk anyone. There's several sites online that tell your location, age, etc. just with your address...

They didn't give out my address, they gave out my cell phone number... they admitted to it. It wasn't FedEx. The CSR (and ther ein only one) refuses to do anything, and I left a voicemail on her supervisor's machine.

I'm not sure I care enough/have the time for a lawsuit.

Do you buy any kind of PC mags?
I'd give their 'watchdog'(most magazines have them)a call and tell them of your predicament.
