    Memory Advice - Help!?

I live in Thailand and it's hard to get good memory. My friend is currently in the states and is coming back here next month, so will bring me back some good memory. He is going to order some stuff from NewEgg this week, so will pick some up from me.

I'm running an ASUS P5Q Premium Board and Q6600 CPU.

What is the best combination of memory to go for when overclocking?...
    ie. 1Gb x 4 Dimms or 2gb x 2 Dimms?....

Could someone recommend me some memory that NewEgg sells?...

I was thinking of going for some GSKILL.

1 gigs are easier to get higher speed on and usually works best without any settings problem, sure if u know a little about bios then 2gb isnt that bad, but it doesnt break any records... what's your plan of doin? are you going to bring them up to speed? or just use them at stock?

I'm just after getting the maximum fsb with tightest timings.

    I'll probably go for 2 x 2Gb Sticks.

The highest that most 2x2 Gb DDR2 sticks will go is around 1150 Mhz, it is very rare to get them much higher then this, whereas 2x1 Gb sticks with good IC's can be pushed well over 1200 Mhz, even up to 1400 Mhz if you find a good set of D9's.

However, 2x2 Gb of 1066 Mhz ram, like the G. Skills above are very cheap these days, if you arent really bothered about sky high overclocks, they will suit you better then 2x1 Gb.
