    Cheap amd overclockers

    Whats a good cheap am2 overclocking board. Can anyone suggest a cpu, and ram.

    now for processors you have lots of choices.
    and as for ram, the question is what is your primary goal? Games or Benchmarks or Crunching?

    2800+? Are you talking about a Sempron or did you mean X2 3800+?

    - Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Socket AM2, (easelly ocable to 2.5-2.8Ghz with Air).
    - 2Gb kit of DDR2-800 Mushkin, stock latencies around 4-4-3 (dont remember exact product code but its XP series) goes to 1100+ with 5-5-5

    Not bad at all, but... its single core witch sucks.
    Single cores aint bad, unless you like to do a ton of different crap a one time...

    Well i like do ton of different crap at same time single core is just too slow for me.

    But anyway My A64 3600+ X2 S939 is atm working 2.7Ghz in normal air cooling, also i have tested A64 3600+ AM2 witch worked also around 2.7Ghz in air.
