RULE 3: Overclock entries must be submitted with a screenshot of at least a 8 hours Prime95, Orthos (small FFTs or Blend test) or SP2004 run (all cores) to be included in the main database.

The Screenshot must have orthos/Prime running.. Idle or crashed results will not be included from now on.

Must have atleast 8 hours of Orthos, (small FFTs or Blend) or Prime. Initially several 4-6 hours were added but from now only 8 hours or more will be added.

If you're running Orthos SP2004 just run one instance as this program tests both cores. If you're running Prime95 then you should run two instances, one for each core. If you want to check for full stability I suggest you let it run for over 6 hours. I've had mine fail just as I hit the 6 hour mark.

No kidding! I've always felt that 30mins to an hour with Orthos blend tells me if a system is gonna be stable.

I have mine running the distance now just to see if a 3200MHz overclock on a DS3 and E6400 is gonna make this "standard" with normal voltage.

you are kidding me right? orthos or prime can fail after 3-5 hours.. happened to me several times..

How do you expect to prove stability 24/7 with an hour of blend? First of all, I am a big fan of small FFT for processor testing, although this thread doesn't require it. And second, I have stress tests fail at 4-5+ hours all the time.

If you are going to run an overclock all day long, you better be damn sure it is absolutely stable... that is, unless you don't care if your registry gets corrupted, or games crashing, etc, etc...

I PMed him twice and he just ignored me, the dude just has a bad attitude and is mad that people have good results, when he himself only primed @ 3400 or some crap with an E6600.

We need to ask FCG to put the L629A Xeon under Phase

I vote for at least 8-12 hours prime/orthos stability. I've had plenty of overclocks that could do 4 hours but not 8 or 12.
