    C2D under phase meets 7600 GS and 8800 gtx....pi under 11 secs

    well
i know its not an amazing score but for a 1st run under single stage i guess its not to bad

    "test bed"

    c2d in the pic....max 1,72 vcore
    asus p5b "vanilla" POS.....vdrop , vcore e vdimm mod
    2x1024 cellshock 6400
    7600 GS sonic ddr3
    bequiet dark power 600w

single stage MACH I r404 custom made evaporator and vapochill retention

    all made by ricky....

we tryed the 8800 gtx but we had issues along the way....when booting into windows we heard a loud pitch sound and a bsod occured...
we tryed a couple more times but no luck
i guess the 600w psu wasnt enough....
so we then moved to the 7600 GS sonic ddr3 and some 2k1 action along with pi 1 m

not spectacular but a nice cpu anyway

we need a board that can run more fsb......my "vanilla" is on its knees......vdimm above 2,3 will result in crash....

was a fun night along with my friend Martakis....

special thanks to ricky for the prommy work and our friend n3ro for borrowing the ram and 8800 gtx

    Nice one, looks familiar

Is this max? I think with the extra vcore/cold you should be able to get it up a little higher.

    right now we are screwed

my p5b vanilla is dying but has the vmods done....but when we pass certain vdimm or vcore it will not work well
the p5b deluxe has no mods but the drop is scary ......but the stability is much better

we wil have to mod the deluxe to try more mhz out of this cpu

Nice results with a P5B vanilla. But what do you mean dying? Like it will not work the next day ?

lol, I'll do a vdimm (and maybe Vdroop) mod tomorow, you think the motherboard will die sooner?

cant raise vdimm above 2,3 v or it will not go into windows....couldnt run the 8800 gtx second time......
one day it will do 514 fsb the next .......not

    very weird

    but its a cheap a$$ board....so if it dies.....not really a problem
dfi is just around the corner
