I don't know how well that will overclock, but L626A274 is not a stepping. That's a FPO/Batch number. The stepping refers to the design revision. All current retail C2D's are the B2 stepping. Quad cores are B3.
well i am wanting to know if those codes i have given give any indication as to how good it will be at an overclock?
my 26A 6300 clocked to 480x7 on air, you should do some decent clocking with your chip

week 26 can be considered as "early" and "early" week retail C2Ds do not OC very good![]()
I have a similar code, also a week 36, that has done 3.4 under water no problem. It has plenty more in it, I just haven't had the time to push it
