ya i have noticed this as well and one of my machines. a dell P4 ht 2GB server that was installed on wcg yesterday as a service (boinc) and it's claiming what it would claim on linux (40 for aids?)? but its getting the granted points that it should. i have only noticed this on the one rig tho all others are fine.

You aren't losing any as it's "claimed/granted" so the quorum is helping you.
Now as to why a dothan is claiming that small an amount, I don't know.
I do know what when I ran my dothan 770 at 2600 in "that other app" it per core was a little monster. Getting 900 a day on it when the Opty 165's clocked at 2700 were getting 1600 a day.
Per core, the dothan is a beast.
I wouldn't worry as in WCG you get the benefit. Maybe this is one of the cpu's that they just can't get right???
What does it show in a WCG benchmark?

Often, the benchmark will not run properly for whatever reason. Rerun the benchmark; sometimes you have to do it more than once.

This is the same problem that smokeyfalls had recently. Like rob725 said, run the benchmark again. Just make sure that nothing is running in the background.

Compared to my AMD X2 @ 2.6 Ghz, last benched 2485/4634 it looks that your dothan is benching correctly, in fact higher than my Toledo !

Things should be fine from hereon. Run a few and let us know how it claims. At this rate it should be claiming just under 15 credits per CPU runtime hour.

As you may know, Boinc automatically runs the benchmark exactly every five days. I have boincview installed, and I fire it up occassionally to check status. One of it's nice features is that it has a column that shows when exactly is the next bench going to run. I make sure that I am running nothing else at the time to save myself the headache.

If your machine is a 24/7 machine, you can manually run the bench at 6 AM one day, then you know that it will always be benching at this time early in the morning when you are not using it.
