    A maze 3 set very soon, i might need some suggestions

    Hi all,

    I will soon make my first H2O try wit ha Maze 3 setup.
    I will order a Maze 3 ,Northbridge block ,GF4 block, Aqua pump ,Cooling cube with 2 120mm Papsts. I will fit this into a fulltower chieftec and i might need some guidance on how and in which order.
    Let say the cube can fit into the top 2 or 3 hd bays, would that be the best place for the rad?
    Also, should the cpu block be the first to be cooled?
    Let say i bough a maze 3-1, would i get the same result with that even if i DONT use pelt?
    Any help would be really appreciated!

    I am about to make the jump to watercooling with a setup very similar to yours and from my research I think I can answer a few questions.

    Order should go:
    Pump->Radiator->Waterblocks->Back to Pump

    As for the order of the waterblocks:
    You can use a y fitting likethis one to split the water so one channel goes to the cpu and the other channel goes to the northbridge->gpu. Then have them rejoin before going back to the pump. One channel should be able to handle both the northbridge and gpu.

    Another way would be northbridge->gpu->cpu. The downside to this is that the water will be warmer when it reaches the cpu which will slightly degrade the cpu cooling. Because the northbridge and gpu are cooler than the cpu putting them in the loop after the cpu would do little to cool them.

    As for the maze 3-1 you can remove the coldplate which holds the pelt. This makes it the same as the maze 3.

    Hope this helps
