I think its the guy who is a real wizard in optimizing memory bandwidth things. I remember he was supposed to get one of those kingpins solid unit looong time ago. Im totally going to ask him to borrow it for dryice tests later on

A Fin no doubt . have fun torturing the hell out my unit on your load tester. You should get youself a nice cpu and mobo to play with though as that may be a little more enjoyable

I talked to him Tuesday and he said mine would be shipping out first thing Wednesday(yesterday). He also said he was very busy Tuesday. Hes probably just been busy with other things. Before you completely freak out Id wait till at least Friday or Saturday, though I very highly doubt he wont respond to you by then.

Very nice idea for the big mass on the right place..

You just started a new fashion on the pots..
Bill you have a very short memory my friend.
I 'd personally told you the benefits of the half pot design over the solid one.I told you how the cross (in my pot the is a cross in the center) increases the buffer .I even wrote those at the lab.gr over a year ago when I and unseen made the first pot
Now you are acting like you 've never seen or heard any of those......

Great work man .Love watching all your stuff.
Glad that your tests prove me right

Hey thanx alot for that! I would love to do a unit like this one in solid copper, but the cost be would be so insane even if the tooling/machining/difficulty was possible at 8 inches. Also the cost of copper these day is ridiculous. This one was all about keeping as much of the "solid benching feel and performance" in terms of capacity, load control, and rate of swing...using only a 3 inch "base" with some aluminum pipe . Was time to try something a little different and keep that end result in mind...do the most with the least. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.

Swedish overclocking team is about to add some more HP to their dyno:
    Good luck with them fellas

It cant depend on how much aceton we use, I mean +- 10ml.
30ml vs. 50ml no difference in action

    EDIT: 10mm to ml

heh..yah about 1.5ounces is usually good but of course depends on the internal volume of the container as well.

BTW--I should have another 7 evo units completed on wednesday-thurs....

You were using single tube?or thick tube?

With ~-130 temps that conroes can hande...you cannot test very good a pot...the thing you can test is only how much hour the base can be stable at some temps...if you would like to test how good is a pot...go and test an Intel 670 with 2 volts on Core..

With LN2 every Pot imo can go down down to ~180- -190C but not all can hold the temps down there...

I think the cross was only for the ''moto'' (for all the cooling series you are making and caling them ''crusader'')and i admire them cause they are very good , but you have not make it for a specific reason...you need mass down there and you give it like a cross..i can make it like a ''G''...
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.
