MEMORYEXTREME TEAM ITALY: First testing attempt on 8800gtx SLI setup...

Well, short story, finally we got these new toys ( in Italy is always so difficult get the new hardware...) and we didn't know anything about this new platform decided to make same test with "normal cooling"

    Evga 680i stock no mods
    X6800@4800 (4740 2k6 ) @1,8V (DI cooling)
    2*1gb Teamgroup extreme
    2*XFX 8800GTX SLI @720/2200 vgpu 1,45/vdd 2.0V H2O 25°
    PC P&C 1KW

we used these new prototypes watherblock made by our friends from YBRIS COOLING

we had lot of problem to make NTUNE works, so we set everything from bios

    2006

    2005

    2003

    2001

We have ours DEWAR ready to run, just waithing the mounthing-kit for the GPU MOUSEPOT

I've already gotten the ones I needed . Time for a much needed break from benching soon. I'd like to see some other guys duke it out at the top for once. These italians def have what it takes.

Not to rain on their parade cause it's one hell of a job they did (esp. '01 nature) but i don't think 4.8GHz is enough cpu power to set the orb alight.

Even with xtreme cooling on the gfx cards 100K for 01 will be out of reach i think but i could be wrong of course.

Unless there's some unleashed cpu power there to be thrown in.
