    R600 support D10.1 ?

    someone inner ATI said: M$ will release D10.1 in 2007-2. R600 support it.

    This just in guys, the R600 supports Tile Based Deferred Rendering.



    ....AND a new AA method! Called Red Mask Anti-Aliasing, or RMAA.



    As you can see, it is simply impossible to game without it now that you've seen it.

    (note that there is a slight performance hit)

    last time M$ launched a new version of directX, they were pissed at nVidia and f'ed them over. This time they are in good standing with ATI...
