your going to want to edit that Corsair C4D kit because only v1.1 was D9GMH...and i don't know about any handpicking going on for that part either.

v2.1 and up are Promos ICs, just like their other 6400 C4 kits they sell. chances are all retailers will have only rev 2.1 and up and therfore the Promos ones.

check out the RamGuy forum where Corsair has their official list. i think it was updated with some 6400 C4D kits and should confirm what i have above.

i had a kit of v2.1 and within 5 minutes i knew they were Promos and not D9GMH...they went back.

I have exprience with Patriot PDC22G8000+XBLK . This ram is extremely awesome but for the price you can find something cheaper. These have D9GKX and I know this because I've taken the heatspreader off.

Those kits are exactly the same with only three differences
    1- Default timings
    2- Label on the memory
3- The DDR800 is slightly expensive

The Geil kit number on newegg is different than what is shown in r00n's ramlist.

Do you have confirmation otherwise that it's D9GMH?

    G.skill PC6400HZ (D9GMH) DDR800 OR Geil ultra (D9GMH) DDR800 CAS4 ? (for a decent OC on the e6400/stability/the Geil is $88 cheaper for me)

Actually I am confused coz lots of people had problems while using that geil memory with the 965 chipset they had problems setting the voltage manually and other stuff so it is safer to go with the HZ , any way I will remove the geil from the list till I get every thing clear

Patriot PC6400LLK? D9GMH? I've bought it 2 months ago and asked to my distributor what's chips in it, they said "this kit uses D9DQW". Now I got an GSkill 6400HZ 2gb kit for replacement, I'm so happy with it.

Any info about hw the D9DQW will overclock?
    Thanks
One more thing I think the D9DQW was only used in 2X512 kits

Mine was 2x1gb kit. Not so good (compare to GMH). At 1000mhz 4.4.4.12, it needs 2.4v for 30mnts orthos, therefore I called them suspiciously to ask its chips assuming it was an elpida or something else.

    Dude, please remove Patriot !!
All new Patriot 800 (value, LL, LLK) with black heat-spreaders are ELPIDA!
    They can't run above 1050 with 5-5-5-15 2.45V!
    It's a stupid ram! I have 800LL
One my friend have 800LLK - the same sh*t
Don't look at this ram! And mine distributor says they are Micron, but nooooo!
