    Believe it or not, I am almost as old as Movieman. When I was born, a computer was something that took up an entire room. I'm proud to say I don't own a cell phone.

    I became interested in PC's after seeing this ad.

    When I was in high school, I think the must-have gadget was a Bowman calculator. I preferred my slide rule though. I grew up in the heart of Silicon Valley, but was oblivious to technology for a long time.
