Some evening fun i cold cold Norway.. Single card 8800gtx DI fun..

Well.. time to get back to business..
I have been testing some mobos lately, and spending way too much money on findig a X6800 that likes cascade temps.. but no luck.. unfortunately..
So, it is back to my B1 X6800 that brought me under 10 sek SuperPi..
No really high frequencies though.. but allright.. after all.. will be back with some Nitro results tomorrow or the night after.. need more cooling on cpu in order to run it on 5,1 or 5,2 3D..
    It will do it though..
But here are my results after freezing my ass of in my cold cold garage...
ambient temperature was like - 4 degrees celsius..
I don't know if any of these are WR's, but indeed ok for single card runs..

    First: Aquamark

    Kinda liked this 01 run...

This 05 runs was not too shabby either...

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=2342277

And finally my "not at all maxed out " 06 run...

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=649205

It is gonna be fun to see what my best 8800GTX will be able to do on my cascade with a little more volt.. could be intereseting..
These results will fall pretty pretty soon....

But, too cold to keep on writing.. gotta jump into a hot bath..
    Cool things in progress...

ambient temperature was like - 4 degrees celsius..
Now thats what I call cold benching when your ambient goes below
O C's....lol i freeze with AC cranked in spring when ambient is 10 C's...
but minus 4 C's is just awesome......

Very nice 3d scores, especially for 01......

4.9GHz on DI for 3D is insane!! Must be the best DI CPU I've seen by a long shot.

Looks good SM, glad you didn't get frostbite out there, thats pretty chilly. Looks like the card needs some vmod action if its not a sample

If the GPU is on dry ice why such low clocks? I see people getting ~650 or so stock cooling and I've seen several over 900 with LN2.

well -4ºC ambient really help in getting low cpu gpu temps (i've seen 15ºC delta, when benching at different ambient temps 30ºC to 12ºC) with dry ice.

For Stoolman, awsome benching i really like your benchs
