    I guess around 3.4 to 3.5GHz.
    Had two E6400 (L625A and L628A) which both did 3.6GHz (1.41Vc/1.46Vc).

I think the L625 could have reached 3.7+ but my board didnt even boot @ 454FSB.

As an average...i would say 3.4GHZ with up to 1.4Vcore and the stock Intel cooler.

    ~3.2GHz @ 1.5V - on stock intel cooling
    ~3.6GHz @ 1.5V - on TT BigTyphoon / Tower120 etc.
    ~4.1GHz @ 1.6V - under vapo
    ~4.4GHz @ 1.65V - under DI

3.73GHz on air for me. I would say the AVERAGE (heavily dependent on user skill) is only about 3.2-3.4Ghz. You should be able to take them to 3.7-3.8Ghz stable on air. 4.0 on water with A LOT of volts. 4.2 or greater on SS.

Besides your post in your own birthday thread, this is the first time I've seen you around here in awhile. Now before you leave, someone needs to force an X6800, two 8800's and a new mobo onto you and make you bench some... It's weird seeing you quiet for so long when all this new BAD@ss hardware needs benched to death

    Thanks for the info guys.

I was just checking this chip at work on water and it does 3.6 rock solid 1.46V. I have not tryed overclocking it any higher because it's on the bench right now and I am going to put it into a case. Once it's in the case I'll go max stable OC. I just was wondering if the chip was any good before I put it in the case. I think it has potential

8 x 450 is what mine does at 1.35 volts (real volts, not whats set in bios)
    topped out at 4.03 ghz.

    plain air cooling.

I hit 450x8 fsb without much fuss, was able to get to 502x8 on my e6400 but it took 1.7vcore and it wasn't quite stable even so, probably due to the temps on watercooling

    My beloved week 24 E6400 did 3.6GHz @ 1.5V (real) on water.

    Until it... err...

My crappy E6400 does 3830mhz max superpi 1m on air 1,725V
On stock volt it can't even do 3200mhz
If you're lucky you could do 3500mhz on 1,4V stable

isnt this entirely dependant on motherboard????

for instance, a P5W like mine which FSB walls @ 378 for some reason, that kind of limits where you can go..

Anyway, I'd say ~3.3 is average.

Good Luck OPP! Wanna come do some WCG

Stock cooler I'd say 3200-3400 average (stock cooler really sucks). Better air or water more like 3500 average for 24/7 stability.

    Bail_w,
IIRC, bios was set at 1.525V. DMM measured voltage was 1.506V

The E6400 I tried did 3.2 on stock volts, 3.5 Orthos blend stable, and could be benched @ 3.7 on a P5B deluxe wifi. By benched I mean 3dmark06, and other such things. 3.7 was not it's 24/7 speed, 3.5 was.

id say they are all over the place between 3.3- 3.8ish

mine runs 24/7 1.5v 8x450 on air and will bench upwards of 4040mhz... on air.

mine does 3.6GHz 24/7 on air but today I went down to 3.4GHz on my E6400 so I could run my memory at 530MHz (5-5-5-12 4now) and I can deal with a lower CPU clock and a high memory clock seems good for BF2142 and my BFG 8800GTS
