Is QMC set up like Rosetta?

Is QMC set up like Rosetta?
Does it run without hitches as most of the time my machines don't get touched for a week or so?
Am I wasting my time with Intels on it?
I'm going to keep most power on SOB since I like the fact it never gives me any problems but would like to contribute somewhere else.
I haven't got the power to hold off Helheim in SOB so I might as well use some elsewhere.
I'm looking for something trouble free though, and without the BS that went with Rosetta.

Just run the opty client same as rosetta. You get long WUs from time to time.....say 50-100 hours every now and again.

Most of my farm is remote so I dont really like to spend time monitoring and QMC seems fine for the job.

Ive got just about everything there at the moment until we get number 1 and a good buffer. There is a challenge at the moment in the form of planet3d who are climbing very fast but apparently this is a race to 2 million....lets wait and see.

With a DX@around 2.8 without the HT tweak you should RAC in around 1200. With HT quite a bit more. PM me if you dont know HT tweak.

Be good to have you onboard.

Does anyone know whether Northwoods or Prescotts are better clock for clock on this. Have the coice of running either, a 3.4 northy or 3.2 Prescott ES. The prescott lets me run Higher FSB though.

Don't know about the northwood prescott thing but,
I have a 3.2 prescott at 4.0 ghz and a 3.8 at 4.0 and they both score pretty much the same in the first figure but the higher FSB 3.2 scores higher in the second figure.
My 3.2 is beating my 3.8 when they both run at 4.0.

    You'll need your ID
It's stated quite clearly on your account page at QMC
