Look at records of P5B with 1:4 multiplier. I don't understand how people are hitting these speeds.

Can I say fake ?
With your Corsair PC8500 2x512 ?Originally Posted by ozzimark
i have no corsair. i do have two sets of 2x512mb team. one does 600mhz at 5-5-4 with only 2.13v, the other with 2.2v... cpu limited. judging from scaling, i estimate that ~700-750mhz stable should be possible with both, given a good enough cpu and memory controllerOriginally Posted by jmax_oc
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them
coolaler doesn`t fake.Can I say fake ?
It`s bugged
this looks like a fun challenge, i doubt ill ever make it, but hey, maxi inbound
I did 716MHz CAS 5 but cpuz 1.37 refuse to stay alive above 702MHz.
I will try with other cpuz versions or take a clocking video
nvm

I may test some Geil under sub 0°C temperature...
Let's see what can they do under some cold benches !!!
ddr2 under dice/ln2 and extreme volts would be niceOriginally Posted by jmax_oc

not enough, but i try it tomorrow with more VDimm
Max 1M Stable @ 2.54v VDimm
Nice. Maybe you can screen at 700MHz.
Concerning my tests, cpuz 1.38 in unable to stay alive above 705MHz.
So I will have to certificate the next records with camera. I still did more than 730MHz but I have to wait a cam
700MHz in bench too
What do you guys think - is 700MHz possible on Fatbody (D9DQT) chips with lunacy voltage ?
(will find out in a day or so when will get back my old P5B Deluxe with up to 3.15Vmem mod )
i think over 700Mhz benchable will be done this week end...Originally Posted by jmax_oc

any result with dual channel ?Originally Posted by Chri$ch
No... I think that D9 FAT aren't able to reach far more than 650MHz. They love tight timing, not huge frequency...Originally Posted by TaPaKaH
yep, but only @ 2.41v VDimm
Prime-Blend @ 2.3v VDimm
i try later more

Hello guys, after md_curl and overcrash's WR CAS4, I decided to stress my 2x512Geil PC8500 sticks.
Cooling : LN² but I only put -15°C since it was worse with less than that
Voltage : 3.1-3.2V avec Maximiser (not very happy of this but it can save my mainboard...)
Validation 717MHz CAS4
Next step will be Geil PC9260 2x512MB
Nice you never give up
Intel Core I7 920 @ 3.8GHZ 1.28V (Core Contact Freezer)
Asus X58 P6T
6GB OCZ Gold DDR3-1600MHZ 8-8-8-24
XFX HD5870
WD 1TB Black HD
Corsair 850TX
Cooler Master HAF 922
Oh My GOD This is INSANE! Stable? Or fear from dead?
I think it can be 680MHz CAS4 stable but it's not my goal.
I would like to get 750MHz CAS4 benchable...
