    Help with my 1st SS.

Well I got it pretty close to done but not real happy with idle air temp's. I get around -47c with no load on the evap. Not sure if this is a very good reading but It is with a probe on the side of the evap. Also I get around -40c from the back of the evap with another type probe.

I think I have a pretty good length of cap tube around 5-7 feet of .031. Also these temp's where after the system had ran for about an hour or so. Is there any thought you guy's might want to give me to get better temp'. I'm reading around -11psia on suction using r-22.

What is a guess for full load on a 2.8c intel -35c?

5-7 feet of captube? Way to short really as well as way to vague

    well I was shooting for a 150w heat load @ around -40c

As I stated it's my 1st and I wouldn't have shortened it but I figured it would help temp's once system stabilized. Also as for charging 22 is it better to do @ peak once system has ran for about 10 min's or during start of system. I may have used to short of a cap tube but I was wishing for around -45c no matter the cpu load I put on it.

Around 150 watts woudl be in 9' of .031 range... You tune then let it run, then tune, then let it run. It will effect your temps though.

I'm noob @ this and I just want to be able to obtain -35 -40c load temps. Not sure if instalating the acumalator will help but I have to wait till mon to get some armor flex tape. Also what do you guy's use for the dougnuts around the evap's.

SO having it to short will make temp's less or the ability to hold high load's @ less?

Shorter = better loads really with less temps.
Longer = better temperatures but less load.

Accumulator will only help with a bit of an overcharging problem.

Ok well I should get to try it out on a socket 478. Any thought on what load temp's would be on a 2.8c OCed to about 3.5? Also arent you the one that had the universal hole mounting jpg? I guess 478 = 76.2x59.44mm

BTW I think I'm pretty stuck and as long as I get I guess -25c full load on my 170 once I get the heart to try here on phaze I will be happy for about a 100$ project build.

Ok well I got it to hold a -56c temp without load so I'm guessin I should be able to keep -40c on cpu load.

Need to rotate condenser 90 degrees so tubes are horizontal.

Condensed liquid refrigerant hangs out at the lower end of the system, better flow if it is like that, the vapor should go in the top and the liquid out the bottom

    Done.

Untill I get a better condensor and a danfoss NF11FX ordered do you guy's think it's going to be bad on compressor or bad on load temp's with cond turned wrong?
