Does it improve 3D Benchmark scores ?

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was
doubtful. I'd rather buy a pci-e soundcard they have more use.Originally Posted by massman

Does this have a convertor bridge? Or is this a new AGEIA chip on there.
Also, can you benchmark it against the PCI part? Let's see if there is a performance gain.

COOL AND KNOW WE NEED CARD WHET pci-e16
AND MOBO WHET 8 pci-e16
Why does it need external power A PCI-e slot should deliver enough power for such a card

theres a couple dozen PCIE cards out there for 1x and 4x.
but the majority are RAID cards or NIC cards.
no sound card that I am aware of yet...
cant even find this PCIE PhysX card on Asus own site...
I love new tech as much as the next guy...
but with the raw power of the 8800gtx, I am hoping the 1/4 difference between the gts and the gtx can be reprogrammed to match the power of the ageia processor. This is of course assuming part of the "pipeline" can be broken up to distribute both physics and graphics without needing to dedicate an entire card to the process.
