    That is stock, no mods.
It's even inside my case, and not outside on some table where it gets extra air..

Running it at 500@650mhz and ram at 800@990mhz when gaming.

Well, it seems that if I need to upgrade, the logical choice is a 8800GTX. The GTS is a real nice card though, Should do grate with vmods.

This card runs with only 1 power connector correct? Do you think my system in sig will run properly with this card and my current OCZ Powerstream 600W? Want to be sure I have enough juice without bringing my system down. Thanks.

    Thanks!

Wondering, I can get the following brands out here in Canada. EVGA, Asus, BFG and XFX. Which would be most recommended or are they all the same? Some brands and cheaper than others for the same thing so saving would be good but NOT at the expense of performance. This will be my first Nvidia card since my ti4200 back in the day. I am leary of leaving ATI (fanboy I am) so want to make the best decision possible. I just want something to tide me over instead of my X1900XTX until ATI's offerings come out in the near year.

BTW, how is the fan noise? The Accelero X2 on my X1900 is SILENT. I really want to know what I am getting myself into in terms of added noise from a new fan.

Thanks Weedman, I did mention EVGA as being one of the four brands available as well as BFG, Asus and XFX. I am wondering if one brand is better than another in terms of quality and performance? If I can save money on one brand over another and still maintain great performance then why not right? I am very unfamiliar with Nvidia based cards as I never use them. When it comes to ATI I have my brand preferences.

BTW, ATI has always had superior 2D/Desktop IQ on older Nvidia cards, is the same deal applying with these newer cards? I always found nvidia cards to be more grainy and dirty looking when it came to desktop looks/text.

Hmm, I always found the ATI desktop "fuzzy". But, with the advent of the 8800, the IQ scale swings from ATI. AF is is even better than the already excellent ATI AF.

My bad i misread your post, i thought you were looking where to get those brands.
I have only had evga so far and they have been great, especially with the step up program and lifetime warranty.
