    Testing STT T800UX1GC4 Week 19 Year 06 - DDR1270 4-4-3-4 Spi1M

    I've two kits of early batches Super Talent T800UX1GC4. Those RAMs with silver heatsink are known to use D9GKX chips.

    Until now I was only using the first kit and 1:1 ratio. It was pretty good but when using 4:5 it woudn't even run over 571MHz CL5...

    Today I've changed for the second kit and tried again with 4:5 ratio. The result was a failure again.

    BTW I decided to use 2:3 ratio without being very confident.

    I was wrong because it wasn't a matter of RAM but a matter of ratio!

    Let's have a look at what these RAMs can do.

    AMBIENT AIR: 14C
    CPU: Quent's E6600 @1.31Vcore CORE@-92C
    RAM: STT T800UX1GC4 19/06 @2.81Vddr
    MOBO: Asus P5B-DLX Bios 804 @1.73Vmch
    OS: Windows XP Pro SP2

    Good work

    could you also post the voltage along with the tested speed and timing?

    I see that you are also having problems with 4:5 ratio? My ram is also rated at 500 but doesnt work with 4:5 dividers

    Thx guys!

    @filmbot: didn't try with CAS3; BTW it could bench Spi1M @ about 490MHz 3-3-3-4 with 2.61Vddr. In CAS5 I can bench up to 666MHz with 2.81Vddr.

    @Quent: I truely appreciate your support bro! I really hope the 4:5 ratio to work properly with the Biostar so that I'll be able to bench this 6600 of yours at high FSB with the RAM set near its max.

    Best Regards,
    Xavier

    This supertalent stuff is great, I have 2GB kit(silver heat spreader ones) though I've never had results like this, as I'm FSB limited.

    If you can go to 2.8vdimm, you should try for 500mhz at C3.

    Very nice clocks for 2x512MB, before Would you mind trying 32M or dual32M for me, please? Will they pass it at DDR2-1260 8-4-4-4.0 @ 2.81v?
    Thanks for sharing your SuperTalent's results, man

    Couldn't get my week 14 T800UX2GC4 near to those clocks, more like 540Mhz at Cas4. Still very respectable though in my opinion. Sadly R.I.P.

    hey Guys;

    I've to wait for a new mobo in order to continue because my actual P5B died yesterday... I'll make more work as soon as I recieve that Biostar of Quent's I'm waiting for.

    Best Regards,
    Xavier

    yes bro;

    Asus RMA seems to be a piece a sh*t... I've to find a way to replace this tiny MOS by a new one.

    Oh yeah I see, yours is just the one next to the right of mine. That really suxx; you know, Asus RMA doesn't reply me anymore.

    So; here's the last max Spi1M benchable operating frequency I've managed to reach with another P5B-DLX.

    4-4-3-4 @ DDR1293 @2.74V

    I've renamed this kit "Before's Xtrem" as I think it's well deserved...

    New results with Super Pi 32M on the Biostar TForce P965...

    4-4-4-4 @ DDR1201 @2.54V

    5-5-4-8 @ DDR1229 @2.09V

    Not the highest possible but it really impressed me.
