    [Denny]XFX 8800GTX testing

    after NDA over at 11am.... i went to mwave and got 5 of them...

    here is the pics of the card!

    Motherboard: Evga Nforce 680i PCI-E 140MHZ,
    Ram: G.SKILL DDR2 800 2GBHZ @ 1160 CL4 2.4v
    Video card: XFX 8800GTX @ 660 / 2000
    PSU: PC Power & Cooling 1000W
    CPU cooling: TQ120 air

    the Vga is limited by the system? Cose with th vga oced the increment is enought.

    its it possible to match GTX performance with gts overclocked ?
    I still don't know wich one to choose for daily usage

    well but you need to think about this, GTX can overclock too....
    but GTS OC > GTX stock that is for sure.

    depends on what your gonna do. i personally think gtx is a much better idea 3dmarks dont mean everything

    guess is 2 leet. can ya get some sli results?

    Nice results, That's about where I'll be running so I appreciate the marks @ 3.8Ghz, w/GPU default and overclocked.

    Not according to the Anandtech review. The GTS sucks serious ass in high res / etc, compared to the GTX.

    GTS on avg ocs 130Mhz on core and 400Mhz on mem...and thats avg...and at that speed it equals or exceeds gtx scores in games, 3dmark01, 3dmark03 and 3dmark05.

    yes .. I pushed mine @660 core and 1990 ram but not further more cos of temps too high for the moment

    lol if you have 5 of them, is there a possibility you could run Quad SLI with them with low-profile watercooling system? Or is this impossible?
