    Abit Nvidia 680i, IN9 32X-MAX.

    interesting new board from Abit.
from what I seen of the 680i so far, hitting between 450 to 500 FSB without too much trouble, this might end up being one hell of a good board, and atleast a solid contender against the 975X boards thats for sure.

    Nice mobo.

No crappy caps around the socket.

    Looking good.

nice digital VRM... i want to see how digital vrm performs.

Lots of metal on that board, but at least its not a mess like the asus striker is.

    I like it

I wonder if hipro has one of these yet!!!

Looks good, but again watercooling is a pita. Now you have to watercool the SN as well, get an aircooler for it or cut the heatpipe :/

But then again the picture doesnt cleary show where the SB heatpipe leads to, so there is still hope

I really like the rest of the layout, with one exception. How is a hardcore gamer, the board is supposed to be designed I guess, supposed to use a SLi setup + gfx card for physics and a soundcard? Not even a PCIE 4x soundcard would fit because of the high NB cooler. :/

Digital VRM and a solid layout

Can't wait to see DFI's board, hopefully it isn't too far off.

Hi! To me is looks like the NB cooler has a curve cut out at either side..I think a PCI-E card will fit ok

You are looking at the inductor chip, only part of the DPWM, the part covered by the heatsink above it is where it gets hot.

I wouldn`t call Molex position bad. far from PSU - maybe, but it`s alot easier to manage cables then if it`d stick right in the midle of the motherboard

By doing some DVM studies. unless of course they are hiding another stage under those heatpipes
