I think you could take down the orb with a single 8800GTX there! (well not now, but before )

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

    congrats to unbeliavable scores.

definitely a good start for the new gen cards, wouldn't ever have expected 23k in 06.

Whatever, some excellent scoring ... Nice to see the gpu cores getting up to the same Mhz range as the last generation even with a lot bigger die.

    1300fps in nature ...

Wow did this thread ever blowup quick. I can say that the cards most likely don't have any significant coldbug yet, as I've been to -80c 925mhz core 06' stable on one card so far . In case anyone was wondering, all testing was/is done with ln2. If I say -45c gpu loaded temps it's still ln2. Same goes for cpu at -100c. Like I said, these runs are for launch really and just the beginning of a new 3d benching era. Scores prolly won't last long once everyone starts digging in hard. Just imagine what other top 3d benchers like Shamino, OPP, KINC, RICKY and PEDRO, anyone else I didn't mention who is more than capable and of course my ATI buddy HIPRO could do with this kind of gpu power.

I can safely say everyone is looking forward to seeing the top benchers put this gear through it's paces. Respect.

    Very nice work Kingpin.

I'm thinking a single 8800GTX on a DS3 mobo might make a good "budget" rig.

That 06' score SMASHES everything! Fantastic work kingpin. You have some nice toys there.

These cards are looking REAL appealing. I have used ATI for the last 2 years and actually itching for a change...... I have a part of the money in place just need to get the rest.
