    72k 3dmark03 8800gt sli

I have not seen too many 3dmark03 tests at all with the 8800gt, these cards seem to be beasts in this test as well. As you can see, nothing about either my cpu or card clocks is special at all, I haven't yet figured out my mobo completely and the cards are on stock voltage, so 75k or maybe even 80k is within reach once I spend more time with this system. All the bigger shame that nvidia did not give 3 way sli connectors for g92, it seems they would fare only slightly worse than gtx/ultra. I think everyone with these cards should post some 03 runs, they're more fun in that even if you don't have a yorkie, you can still get a nice score...

I got to 73k with another 200mhz on the cpu, but I think for 75k I'll need to move to xp until I get more voltage for the card, maybe the drivers are more stable too. maybe I'll even get some decent 06 and 01 runs too, 01 on vista is a riot.

do you have the compare url or screenshot with the individual test FPS details ? i just ran 8800GT SLI @742/1836/2000 only manages 73.8k with E6850 @4050Mhz. I know SLI is cpu limited but i thought E6850 @4050Mhz would make up a bit for Q6600 @3.22Ghz ?

Nope, you're right, its not reporting the score correctly, I should be getting quite a few k lower than what I got.... Its reporting everything correctly up until nature, where its about 200fps over what it actually runs at. I concluded that by running it at lower clocks, and the score went down to in proportion with your fps. To be fair, it was a honest mistake, as I only ran the test overclocked. Heres the bugged score: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5664047 and if it runs at 705/1776/1009, it gets 66k. Weird though, I'm used to benchmarks crashing rather than putting up bs scores...

    maybe it's a Vista driver issue ?

that 75k score is huge.. 681FPS in Nature

    this is what i did with E6850 @4104Mhz and 8800GT SLI @742/1836/2000

Those scores seems a little bit low? I'm sure that you guys can do way better with that hardware, so start ing those cards and that CPU...

83.668 in 3dMark03 with the hardware in sig (on first run) to give you an indication of where to land... GOGOGO

wow, the driver in xp64 is a total pos... it gives me a black screen in 3dmark01 at 670/1729/1000, wtf is up with that? I actually ran 3dmark06 and 03 at higher clocks than that, and its a whql too. xp64 is a better os performance wise, but not if the card can't clock...
