    Buffer Zone

As ANOTHER number 1 is coming up for XS pretty soon I think we need to discuss tactics on what sort of buffer we want. The 30million on Dimes was perfect as we still have that lead even now.

I was going to suggest between 500k and 750k maybe on QMC, what do you all think to that ? We can then shift focus elsewhere and have a nice cushion should we come under attack from any other teams.

A buffer zone would be nice, but I doubt we'll even have time to build one.
Take a look at Planet3DNow!, those guys are on 200k daily average

    Cheers Hassan.

The idea of a buffer was before PLanet3d turned up, now we will just be lucky to hold them off.....

hopefully planet 3d will have better things to do than try and close the gap to us and AT. As for the buffer zone I think we need a gap big enough that if we stopped for 2 weeks-1 month we would still be number 1. So going by AT's 7 day average of 41K this would mean a gap of 574K minimum.

I'm willing to help you guys try and fend off Planet 3DNow! just someone send me a PM with all the information that I need to sign up for it. If XSTM has an account then my production will be under that, will install opti clients while crunching QMC@H.

Been away for a while, power issues here in Seattle. I haven't been able to get work for the last day and a half. I reset the project, and still get the error message. I am going to switch the rig I was using on qmc to d2ol for while.
