    some testing on xfx 8800gts

    testing system
    core2duo e6600es @ 3.6GHz
    supertalent ddr2-800 CL4
    Asus P5WDG2 WS PRO

    3dmark06 9062 at stock

    max overclock 658/862(didnt push memory too hard)
    10660

    room temp 20oC the card is idle at 50oC and 60oC at full load.i think it will be really hot if we put it inside the case D=

    i did memory to 950, FYI , BJ12
    due to the NDA i will post it tomorrow in US....

    i just noticed there are another set of smaller screws on the inside of the main 4 screws that hold the cooler around the core. could those be holding the IHS?

    Yeah, the 8800GTS is more interesting to me than the GTX. There was a time when I only sought after the top end cards, but two children later and I find myself focusing on the more frugal purchases. I may even wait to see what kind of second gen releases come out......8800GTO anyone?
