    first run -> HD2900XT @ Crossfire + Commando + QX6700



    the cards are on defaults clocks and no LOD







    MB-> Commando
    CPU-> QX6700 3d01/03/05 -> 3800mhz ,3d06->3600mhz
    CPU Cooler-> HR-01 + 120mm @ 104CFM
    VGA-> Power Color HD 2900XT + Sapphire HD 2900XT (stock speeds)
    RAM-> Crucial 6400
    PSU-> Topower Giga-EZ 1000w
    Room temp-> 24C

    I heard the CF bridges don't come with the cards, if true how is someone supposed to get them?

    You have one by cards.. so at time you have buy 2 cards you have the 2 bridges needed

    Did you bench HL2 Lost Coast and CSS in Crossfire? I am getting less FPS using Crossfire than a single HD2900XT. I am confused

    they do come with the cards.......one bridge per retail box.....

    975x best for crossfire atm 8x/8x needed for crossfire.......
    RD600 little slower then 975x...


    P35 & 965 chipsets do support crossfire but 2nd card will be always 4x...
    not 8x...only primary slot for pci-e will do 16/8x support.

    doubtfull crossfire will run on nvidia chipset without modded drivers, and good luck finding them, on 965 it's designed for it, so to speak for crossfire(at least they incorporated it later)
