My 165 is waiting at home. I can give you the current Egg steppings once I get there. Might not do much good though since this last lot ran out already.

Ok I'm home. The stepping is in the box window and it's *drumroll* CCBBE 0615EPMW! That's the same stepping my bud from another site got from NewEgg on the lot before mine so it's been consistant.

    Good luck!

my temps were starting to be an issue, so i knocked it back down to 2.8 GHz. for some reason you can go all the way to 2.8-2.9 on 1.4v, but when you wnat to hit that 3 ghz mark it takes quite a bit more and just pushes up the heat too much on air.

Thats kind of howw my 4400 except mine takes about 1.5 volts to go above 2.4 and 1.6 will do 2.7, just not worth the risk of damaging the cpu.

I have a CCBBE 0617FPMW and am at 2.52GHz @ 1.325V BIOS, 1.36V actual according to software. I'm stuck at 280HTT right now though, not a CPU limitation I don't believe because voltage adjustments don't help any. Also I've seen the exact same stepping hit 2.8+ GHz. Something to do with mobo or RAM settings most likely.

Anyone have any ideas I have a thread linked in my sig

Bz your results with that DFI and RAM will be better than mine I can just about guarantee it. My Asus is capable of 300+ HTT from what others have done but my RAM is pretty bad at overclocking.... Or I'm just really bad at RAM adjustments since I know almost nothing about timings and such
