My hats off to all those who stuck with 939 until dc 939 prices dropped...amid conroe and am2...its a test of sheer patience
Plus i prolly deserve a for going nuts over am2...but prices there aren't bad either Win,Win.

my opty 165 off of newegg is ccbbe0161xp?? (forgot the last two digits)
right now its at 2.8 stable 1.35v running prime for 24 hours. hoping for 3 ghz on air.
Ok I'm home. The stepping is in the box window and it's *drumroll* CCBBE 0615EPMW! That's the same stepping my bud from another site got from NewEgg on the lot before mine so it's been consistant.
Good luck!

24 hours prime stable + 26 minute superpi 32m off of an 0616 from newegg. like stated above, i have to run 1.5vcore and the temps run a bit high, but they're liveable...
just gotta tweak the ram now

I am on water so...I doubt temps will be an issue.
my temps were starting to be an issue, so i knocked it back down to 2.8 GHz. for some reason you can go all the way to 2.8-2.9 on 1.4v, but when you wnat to hit that 3 ghz mark it takes quite a bit more and just pushes up the heat too much on air.

CCBBE 0617 FPMW is one of the latest steppigns?
I have a CCBBE 0617FPMW and am at 2.52GHz @ 1.325V BIOS, 1.36V actual according to software. I'm stuck at 280HTT right now though, not a CPU limitation I don't believe because voltage adjustments don't help any. Also I've seen the exact same stepping hit 2.8+ GHz. Something to do with mobo or RAM settings most likely.
Anyone have any ideas I have a thread linked in my sig
Bz your results with that DFI and RAM will be better than mine I can just about guarantee it. My Asus is capable of 300+ HTT from what others have done but my RAM is pretty bad at overclocking.... Or I'm just really bad at RAM adjustments since I know almost nothing about timings and such
