    Realistically: 2011 Mustang V6 w/6 speed.

Not so much: BMW M3 sedan or M5 (really any generation haha) for a daily driver, Porsche GT3 for the track, and of course, the McLaren F1 stays in the garage. As for a weekend cruiser (aside from the McLaren), a '65 Mustang coupe with the 289 would be plenty.

Then again, this doesn't really leave a good sleeper for DD/stoplight-stoplight fun....

Apparently I like Mustangs? I've always talked trash about them! Classics are good, 03 Cobras are fun, and the new 2011 with the Duratec V6 sounds incredible w/Microsoft Sync. Almost affordable, fun to drive...oh man I can't wait for these to hit the market.

    Hell yeah Taylor.

Realistically? I would love to have a perfectly restored 1989 Ford Thunderbird SC and my 1989 Ford F-150 restored to perfect condition. I just have to stick with my 1989 Ford Thunderbird (NA) and my tired 1989 Ford F-150...

    Heynsdyk

This has to be the best kit-car, based off a Porsche 944. This is a kitcar with an own identity, and with good looks.

900Kg and at least 163bhp == lots of fun!

I've always loved the design of the Italdesign Cala. If I had one, it would get a nice twin turbo kit. ^_^

The Italdesign Cala was a beautiful car. It wouldn't really have fit in with the other Lamborghini models though. It's really calm and elegant unlike the crazy Countach and Diablo.

Yea, I think it was only a concept/prototype. It was my favorite car to drive in Need For Speed II SE.. lol. I love the exterior styling though. In some ways it reminds me of a 1990's Toyota MR2.. a mix of that and a Lamborghini Diablo.

    F-430 Scudderia (sp?)

Then a few off roaders (jeeps) and probably a few four wheelers (Couple 450's and brute forces)

That'd be good for me, besides the ferrari I could see getting one of the others (dunno what'll be first though... thats the hard part) here within a few years.

The BMW M1 was a sports car that was produced by German automaker BMW from 1978 to 1981.

In the late 1970s, Italian manufacturer Lamborghini entered into an agreement with BMW to build a production racing car in sufficient quantity for homologation.[1][2] The result was sold to the public, from 1978 to 1981, as the BMW M1. It was the only mid-engined BMW to be mass produced. It employed a twin-cam M88/1 3.5 L 6-cylinder gasoline engine with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection. A version of this motor was later used in the South African version of the BMW 735i, of which 209 examples were built between 1984 and 1986, as well as the E24 BMW M6/M635CSi and E28 BMW M5. The engine had six separate throttle butterflies, four valves per cylinder and produced 277 PS (204 kW; 273 hp) in the street version, giving a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph). Turbocharged racing versions were capable of producing around 850 hp (634 kW).
Nelson Piquet with BMW M1 in 1980 at the Nürburgring

The M1 coupe was hand-built between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing. The body was designed by Giugiaro, taking inspiration from the 1972 BMW Turbo show car. Originally, BMW commissioned Lamborghini to work out the details of the car's chassis, assemble prototypes and manufacture the vehicles, but Lamborghini's financial position meant that BMW reassumed control over the project in April 1978, after seven prototypes were built. Only 456 production M1s were built, making it one of BMW's rarest models. The spirit of the M1 lived on in the first-generation M5, as both models shared the same (though slightly modified) engines.[3]

    Realistically though:

    My "new" dream car:

    Saleen S7 with a Ricardo 7-speed DSG.

Not entirely sure how the packaging would all play/work out (given that I think the 7-speed DSG is quite a lot longer than the existing 6-speed), although I think that it would definitely be able to take the torque from the 7 L V8.
