lol, i wouldnt mind having the new saleen s7 twinturbo, with an intercooler, 1000 HP enough downforce to drive upsidedown at 160+mph, the 575 HP model with no turbos or intercooler goes 220, it weighs as much as my gd acura integra, which runs 14.9 qt mile with 170 hp, so ya, can u say fast?

http://www.saleen.com/saleen_s7_performance.htm - link to qt mile / 0-60 tiems and what not of the non turbo saleen S7 compared to other cars ...

0-60mph in 2,9 seconds if you can keep up...

On a well know british program they run laps:

Not bad for a car that price
The thing with pricing of european cars in the US right now is that the euro is kinda expensive so this:
    http://www.saleen.com/saleen_s7_performance.htm
with the pricing and all is kinda lame
And why dont i see a the latest koenigseg in the list ^^
Dont forget to check out the movie

I had hesitated to put this as the car that I'd choose as my dream car...but since this is about personal taste...why not

    Hope your resolution is 1280x1024

    No Radio
    No A/C
    No GPS
    No Heating
    No Leather Seats
    No Chrome Wheels
    Doesnt Come in Yellow
    Doesnt Have an Automatic Version
    Its doors dont slide upwards
And its engine...is at the back.

Made almost entirely inside of Carbon Fiber.

    The Porsche 997 GT3

    My Choice

As I said...Definitely Not for ppl wanting to take 30 minutes to choose between maple or oak finishing on the dash

great choice perkham. i've seen the previous gt3 on the street one
day a few years back on the drive home from the u. i was coming
along at around ~80km/h and about 350m in front of me another
car was doing about my speed, maybe a little bit faster. midway
between us was a t-intersection where a gt3 was waiting for the
1st car to pass to turn onto the road i was on. so a few seconds
after that car passed him, the gt3 floored it. before i even passed
the intersection the gt3 had already overtaken that other car..
yeeez.. that was one of the <drool>-moments

same as the f50 overtaking us in the hills around st.tropez / france..
    woot
sky / s!p - we are oldskool, dammit.

lol, gotta remember with the price, u get 2.3 0-60, which isnt even teh final speed cuz its the 750hp model, not the 1000hp, then u also get radio, air conditioning, interior, leather, etc.

it definantly beats the hell outa the enzo :p

I have to agree with perkam, that is the sexiest car I have ever seen, and that includes the custom RUF' and 9FF cars!

Otherwise a Ford RS200 Evolution, the nice car that won Pikes Peak Sick car that is...

Thx guys. I know...its an amazing car. The last GT3 went faster around the track than a Porsche 911 Turbo...and was $20,000 less So porsche didnt release its track numbers lol.

Ofcourse, if you're buying this car, you'd have to have a normal everyday car as well because its sure to torture you in harsh winters and summers...but of course, on the track, you will have no equal

Tis a pitty the most I'll ever be able to afford will probably be a boxster (GT3 is priced ~US$100,000 )...but even that carries a bit of the porsche lineage :

The only dissappointment has been the cayman S...a line that's just a boxster with hardtop and 15 more hp that they're charging 10k more than the boxster for...and it aint that good looking as well : http://www2.porsche.com/cayman/pcgb.asp .

But for those looking for bling in a porsche ...that too has its possibilities:

Does anyone get a bit bored with Porsches, they all start to look the same?
They do go like **** off a shove, and are excellent pieces of machinery, but to me arent dreamcars, just lack that something special, cant quantify it.
I think this about almost all German cars I'm afraid, only exception being the SLR MacLaren because of the styling, just gives it something different, not just another AMG Merc.
Wouldnt say no to GT3 though

lol, the only porche i would think of thats a "dream" car, would be the carrera GT, its so friggan nice, but to me, dream car is something that looks like a race car, like the pagani zonda, carrera gt, mcclaren F1,saleen S7, not so much teh ferrari enzo, it just has some wierd ass styling i dun like, but ya, nething that looks like a race car, ooh ya, i forgot to mention, when i get half a mil, im buying an indy car u can get them street legal, only downside is the rev limiter but that can be fixed

The Bugatti Veyron flew off its testing track Yes, flew, at just under 400km/h

    The 9FF GT3

    Thread: http://www.theautobahn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11678

Nonetheless the RS200 Evolution 840hp Pikes Peak car has its own charm. After all, 0-195 in 7.1s and a pressure of 1.2G under acceleration is impressive!

In one of the Pikes Peak challenges, Blomquists brakes failed. Nonetheless he continued the race without breaking once and held the 4th fastest time. Sick car!

hahaha, if it flew, it has some major issues of down force
    hmmm, 240mph, lol sounds fun
also i noticed they charge about 1000 euro/kmh, with the first 2 on the house...
