    ati man
    Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: less than 1 day 12/9/2007 8:14:30 PM not better then the 3850

Pros: yes it is a good card and it has pritty good specs but I am a true ati guy and this is why.

Cons: lets look at the specs and where the 3850 beats the 8800gt and the 8800gt wins. 1 3850 has a clock core of 668mhz beats 8800gt by 68mhz. 2 the amount of streaming pros in it is 320 ati and 112 8800. 3 memory clock the radeon is pritty a hard 1650Mhz while the 8800gt is 1800mhz-1400mhz so we will call it a draw with that. 4 the prices the 3850 is right now around $30 cheaper then the 8800gt.

Other Thoughts: so the final tally is 3.5 3850 and .5 8800gt. by the way what does sli do because it seems like a bit of promotional grasp for life to me.

Cons: save your money this card is not worth it , 8800 gts is faster ..dont believe all the reviews on the net .. i acutally have one and its just another 8800 gts ...

Other Thoughts: Grafx cards mostly jsut like processors are a waste of money .. go with ATI they are better in all ways nvidia just all about the money .. if you want to run crysis at 800 fps .. get the 7 series quadro.. it will eat it up ..

That guy is insulting one of the best mobo makers on the planet
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

Pros: It works in my crosshair with the 904 bios. It's running [b]dual orthos at 11x250 [b]right now and it runs faster than other amd's I've owned.
Cons: Its almost hit or miss whether the memory wants to run stable for me, but that might just be the memory or the mobo.
Other Thoughts: It is a good processor for the money, but I'm getting the M3A32-MVP board in tomorrow and I'll be ordering a 9600 BE when it comes out just because these processors have alot more in them than most people think.

Just checked out the Phenom 9600 and now i have a headache
Pros: ok the q6600 its ok. i mean its intel but i got a core2 duo with 3g's of drr2 800mhz ram. and i have to oc my ram and core2 to keep up with my amd x2. but anyways FSB and ram mhz is where ya speed is. my core2 is oc 2 1333FSB, ram oc to 866mhz. and without my amd x2 oc its FSB runs at 1600mhz. really computers dont use all of the ghz on the processor so thats why they are dropping the ghz down on them. So in all from what i am reading and seeing. i think amd will come on top. now only if they can make a mobo for nvidia and not ati. nvidia is cheaper and top that on sum video cards ya can get lifetime warenty. i have still yet found a ati video card that will have that kind of warenty...

Pros: Black. 8 inches. Kicks computer cables' butts. Does not eat me.
Cons: Doesn't fight off yetis. Doesn't annoy siblings. Does not win at Unreal Tournament for me.
Other Thoughts: I actually don't have them... But I can tell very well what they are. Still sad about them not being able to fight off yetis.
Its just bunch of cable ties, geesh

lol @ the entire cable ties review page http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...aseMark=&Page=
Pros: They work as stated. No software or drivers install, they worked out of the package without any hiccups.

Cons: I was hoping to see a HUGE increase in graphics and overall performance. I wasn't so lucky, maybe you will get the lucky pack of ties.

Other Thoughts: I hear the neon cable ties boost your processor .6mhz and double your FSB speed. I'd have to look into that more.

those were good: GENERIC 73CT-01-0840-BK Cable Tie, BLACK, 8" 100 pcs/Pack
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...aseMark=&Page=
Pros: Ok, so I bought these ties and they make my computer look absolutely beautiful, they're probably the best ties ever, EVER. However...this may come back to bite you(read con)

Cons: Since my computer was soo beautiful, all the girls were after me "Ohhh! What beautiful cable management you have!" And these girls kept bothering me because of my beautiful case thanks to these, that I never had a chance to play this!

Other Thoughts: Go with this if you want a beautiful case. But BEWARE, your case will be extremely sexy.

just read this one on the evga 7600gs

    Pros: None

Cons: Plugged my connector into the back and plugged the other power connector to the top of the card, and I can not get it to boot.

Other Thoughts: I had to modify my power connector on the power supply to get it on the connector at the top, they should ship that connector with the card
uhh... so he hooked up a power connecter to the SLI connecter?! no wonder it wouldnt boot...

Pros: 5 year warranty - Seagate name - great reliability - and of course... Newegg's price

Cons: 500 GB hard drive only gets seen by WXP Pro as 465.76 GB. I'm just one of those guys... wondering Where'd the other 34.24 GB go? So, I rate this drive as 8 out of 10 possible stars.

Title: Overheating problems on first day!!!

    Pros: Installation was easy

Cons: After installing the heatsink and thermal paste onto the processor and finishing up the rest of computer it started up fine but after a few hours the temperature display started going up and before you know it, it started flashing red indicating that there was some overheating going on. The computer all of a sudden shut down on me and when I did a diagnostic test on and opened up the case, I found out that the processor cracked. Trust me, you don't want to get this even if this is a brand new processor from AMD.

Other Thoughts: I would strongly suggest not to get an AMD processor because me and a few of my friends had significant overheating problems with these and they were not even overclocked. I got Intel's newest 45 nm Core 2 Duo (Wolfdale) processor and it has no problems so far. It is also way faster than the AMD Phenom and can be overclocked to a certain degree without water cooling.
AMD Phenom 9600BE. Wth, that guy (and his friends apparently) must do something wrong to have all these overheat issues with AMD chips
