XS 3dmark challenge 2007

Seems to me the challenge seems still seems to be 100k in 3dmark2001.

Hey you guys, you've had 5 years of practice now, and yet still the big 100K has not fallen

Lets do a roll call of guys who read here and who I might be willing to stump up the goods

*anyone else who thinks the guys above have had far too long to shake it

Also, don't forget Opp, sometimes het just re-appears and does something xtreme.

Kinc and Crotale get my vote, but no diss to anyone on that list, they`re all well on top of their game

Not macci, as he don't really benches anymore
Not sampsa, as he's on a trip for the moment
Not Kinc (does he have two 8800gtx's since he lost his pair at DH)
Not shamino, haven't seen results from him a while

That leaves: overklokk, Kingpin, Hipro. KP wants Hipro to break the barrier, so he's out.

I'd bet on some people who are not that famous yet (e.g. Italy-gang)

I think Hipro will be the one to get it first, if KP hasnt already and just isnt sharing. Hes having scores with 1950 CF close to those with SLi 8800 GTXs. He always has great CPU power, so I think if he doesnt do it with CF, he will for sure when he gets SLi.

100k can go down with SLI/conroe at 5350-5400mhz no doubt. I just dont have the time atm to give it the effort it really needs, else I'd be at the doorstep . Mark2006 with the quadcore gets most of my attention on the bench now, that is very time consuming.
Whats with these other guys besides Hipro that are showing 5.4ghz 3d runs?? I am really surprised it hasn't been done yet to be honest by some of these guys. I basically left the door wide open. Hipro doesn't count because I know he is busy as hell like me and probably doesn't have the time to bench more than one setup atm if he can bench at all. He's definitely got the chip for it though.

My b1 conroe is showing signs of fading from all the abuse I've given it the last few months, and I dont have the $$, time, or resources that some of these other guys seem to have to hunt down another good clocking chip to take 100k down. If I had some better core2 silicon here, it would already have been done. Someone hook me up with a good chip, and I will take it down for ya promise . It's possible i can do it with what HW I have now, but I'd really have to dig in to get her done...and everything would be running on the very edge...thats when running 3 units can be very, very difficult.

At 98.5k with where my cards were clocked at and 5230mhz, the CPU has a much greater points gain potential than the cards and nature is actually capped somewhat by cpu power if you can believe that.

If it's my buddy, please tell him we need an ovp mod for the cards Bill...

last week-end we have tried to catch up the 100k on 3dM 2001...
the setup it was truly extreme in order to try the scaling....

dewar 50L for cpu, dewar 35L for one vga and -100° cascade for external vga



unfortunately the game has been short...EVGA motherboard it's died

now we are waiting the Asus Striker and we will still try again
