If your modules match these specs, you are good to go:

    Type: DDR-II SDRAM
    Capacity: 1024MB
    Configuration: 64M x 8
Ranks / Banks: 2 (Double sided)
    Data Width: 64

    Frequency / Timing Table

    DDR-533MHz @ 3-3-3-10-15 (tCL-tRP-tRCD-tRAS-tRC)
    DDR-667MHz @ 4-4-4-13-19 (tCL-tRP-tRCD-tRAS-tRC)
    DDR-800MHz @ 5-4-4-15-22 (tCL-tRP-tRCD-tRAS-tRC)

    Target IC

    D9DQT, D9DQW, D9DRD, D9DQZ, D9DQR, D9DQP

Load it to Thaiphoon Burner and fully rewrite the desired sticks with this SPD file.

does your custom SPD give any other advatnages than just tighter and higher memory settings? i mean the same things i can do just confuguring my mem settings in bios?

I think its more used for when your motherboard supports a minimum speed of PC4200 yet your rams default speed is PC3200

This way after flashing them it will work to the required speeds

The Stilt, is there any chance you could make some 512mb versions of those? I'm getting some ram in tomorrow which has a slight error that the spd file is screwed and calls the ram PC3600.

Im 99% certain they are D9DQT. I will check when I get them, but they are the OCZ PC4200 EB Rev 2 which is meant to be that

asus boards dont boot these sticks for the reason of they are shorting in the dimm slots, they need to be opened up a bit, i think dino's had a guide showing this. It only affects Asus, and ASrock boards (my asrock needed it to be done) basically, the gist of it is you have to put the sticks in, then open the tabs up on both sides SLIGHTLY, and boot. no problems

    Hi guys,
I too have bought a couple of these 1gb D9DQW and I've flashed TheStilt's SPD on them succesfully, but is it useless right? I mean to change SPD, timings etc cause they don't boot on Asus boards the same, isn't it?
Then I'd like to know from TheStilt which SPD he used and then modified to have final SPD "Rhino Custom Fatbody 1GB"
    Tnx

It works on all boards. Micron original DDR2 dimms have too short gold pins and the picture shows how to fix this. It's not a compatibility issue on the technical level. All Micron DDR2 ICs are perfectly compatible with DDR2 Asus motherboards.

    Thanks Alexio
I thought there was some kind of technical incompatibility...
