[Denny]OC testing other than MT IC

    testing with F2-6400PHU2-2GBNR two pairs.
those ram are purcahsed for my customers and i think it is good thing to test and let everyone knows about those value ram. since the price in egg is not too high. however, one pair is not good enough to determind the real OC, also, i found a old 06 30th and a new 06 40th stick so in case GSKILL switched IC, I won't misleading people who read my post

    test spec
    INTEL E6400
    P5B-D WIFI MOBO
    GSKILL 800 2GBNR
    TQ120
    PC P&C 510W
    HITACHI 70G SATA2
    7900GTX

    with 630 pair
    1.8v test on DDR2 800 5-5-5-15 as the spec

    2.1v test on DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15

    max stable @ 2.1v test on DDR2 1050 5-5-5-15 & SP2004 + memtest stable

    2.1v DDR2 1060 5-5-5-15 but not SP2004 / memtest stable

    640 pair test
    max stabke @ 2.15v test on DDR2 1030 5-5-5-15 & SP2004 + memtest stable

    thought:

got two pairs of GSKILL F2-6400PHU2-2GBNR value ram
one is old 06 30th week and new 06 40th week, in case GSKILL switched IC, but looks like they are the same IC.

however the old one doesn't take too much voltage, 2.1v is the best spot for it, and 2.2v+ it becomes unstabel and no boot with 2.4v
the newer one i can put more voltage to 2.4v, but not stable either. looks like 2.15v is the best for newer one

as the price of MT IC is high.... the value OC ram is best choice for normal users

    Q9550 || DFI P45 Jr || 4x 2G generic ram || 4870X2 || Aerocool M40 case || 3TB storage

According to the shape of the ICīs, they are probably ProMos or Infineon.

BTW i think everyone know it already but i just wwanna point out that FSB400 is much faster than FSB424 (boot up) even the CPU speed is about 100MHz more
probable need to reach FSB 430 to get performacne over FSB 400 (with same MP)
