    P5B-Deluxe RAID problems!

Okay i go to install RAID on my raptors. but i cannot enter the utility. I'm getting uber angry because i am doing everything they tell me. I was supposed to:

    A. Set config in BIOS to RAID (from original IDE).

    B. reboot and press ctrl+I on startup to enter RAID utility.

Here's the thing. I can't even enter the utility!! I thought it might be due to the fact that my hard drives are not formatted, but that's really silly because i should still be able to get into the utility. I don't wanna phone Asus, but i will if i have to. Anyone have any ideas before i break down and phone them....

I will check back in awhile, hopefully someone has a solution to my problem. Thanks a bundle guys

okay i read in the manual that it says "You must install windows 2000 service pack 4 or windows xp before using serial ata hard disk drives. The seriel ata RAID feature(RAID...) is available only if you are using windows 2000/xp or later version."

What does this mean... this makes no sense that you need windows installed before you setup the RAID??? or am i missing another step....

yes you are missing everything. He is talking about the Raid Bios utility.

Recheck your Bios settings one more time, check that your sata drives are connected to the raid-enabled sata ports. Also in bios, disable quick boot so you can see prompts and messages while posting.

You should see raid utility and key combination to enter the utility.
