    i didnt want to have to choose, cause there are some good mobos up there but i went with shuttle

    I presently have 2 Shuttle AK31 motherboards, 1 being version 2.0 and the other being 3.1. Of course, the KT266A memory bandwidth is much nicer on the 3.1. I will be getting an Abit KR7A-Raid when it is available from my usual distributor.

    the only 2 things it could change is 4 ddr slots, and volt range of 1.5~2.20 would be great

    MSI K7T266 Pro kicks ass. I have the first release and after looking @ the specs of the RV2, the first one actually looks a bit better (except the new one supports better processers)

    what is the best out of the two and whatis the difference?

    I like it. Seems pretty stable so far. I haven't bumped the fsb up much yet, just to 166 I believe.

    Its favorite 266a motherboard!

    Hands down the two best are the Abit Kr7 and the Epox 8kha+.

    But I have to vote for the Epox! Great board, very cheap and a GREAT overclocker!
