    there is the sensor placed

I know, I noticed that you wrote that article and I thought it was really cool that you posted here!

Once the enclosure is taken apart is it fairly easy to get back together? Does it just clip, snap, or glue back together or do you have to break it to get it apart?

Ok since it is a mach2 and I have played with a few I will try help you out..

First you will need to cut or remove the heatshrink around the back of the mounting kit, this will expose the armourflex and also the heater cable that wraps around the outside of the armourflex...

You should now see some electrical type tape on the back of the mounting head securing the armourflex to the back of the head.

Carefuly remove the tape and pull back gently on the armour flex to expose the stainless steel suction tube, you should see that the mounting head has a collar at the rear and a length of straight copper from the evap head will be visable, it will have the grey wires for the temp sensor also the red wires for the heater element.

As jinu117 said they are not always in the same position but 8 out of 10 mach2's sensors will be mounted straight down the side of the tube that extends from the evap, if you use a flat blade screwdriver or even better a pair of pointy nose plyers and gently remove the old sensor DON'T dig or gouge around the rear of the head you may damage the capilary tube then just pull the old sensor out

I would just stick the new sensor in about the same position as the old sensor and the only place I have ever got new sensors from is http://www.extremecoolingtechnologies.com/ or speak to Phil at http://www.extremeprometeia.com

Thank You so much for your help! This is exactly what I needed.

How do you recommend getting the new sensor to "stick" onto the tube again? Crazy glue? Some artic silver epoxy?

So then putting everything back together again should be a snap right?
If I cut the heatshrink from the mounting kit, what do you suggest I put in its place? More Heatshrink or is thick electrical tape ok?

    Thanks!
