    Talking Corsair PC8500 @ 630 4-4-3-4 done on P5W DH

Hi all, two weeks ago i decided ill have some fun with all my ram sticks, did vmch and vdimm mod to my P5W DH, and got this:

I got 640 but didnt take screenshot Im quite sure they still have more in them, since i couldnt do even 650 whichever timmings i set ( even By SPD ) so i was chipset limited i'd say, what do you guys say ? Too bad i ve already sold them Sorry i didnt do any bandwith tests since i dont like everest or sandra ( i dont even have them )

    Regards!

I havent tried with 2,5v but with 2,4volts they went up to 560-570 4-4-3-4 and 605 5-5-4-9, so they scale very well with volts

Its in the screenshot ---> 2,8vdimm

Also i didnt try them with less than 2,8v, since i did pencil mod ( dont have a decent soldering iron yet ) and its hard to adjust, so just 2,8vdimm after vmod...

I'm speechless I had no idea P5W DH can clock this high! Awesome, although, it would rock even harder if that was 4:5 or 2:3 Too bad, mobo is a culprit here...

Yeah, its all about FSB:RAM freq, as lower FSB, you can run the RAM higher, with 1:3 divider, RAM could go even higher... Also, with another board with better chipset ( mine is average clocker ) this RAM will go even further

    Thank you all !

Mines are (were, i dont have em anymore now ) plain 8500, the first corsair 8500, the PN isnt 8500C5, as you can see in the pics, dominators and C5's are newer than mines.

Sorry IluvIntel, as nicepun said, i dont have'em now... But i have some 8000UL's that may be able to throw near 600 4-3-2-1, ill now this weekend.
