I enjoy this thread so much Cold days of winter are upon us, so I'm gonna keep an eye on that, for "cool" updates
Unfortunately here in Crete (Greece), lowest temperatures we might see in winter is ~8*C, maybe a little lower ... But nevermind, I'm enjoying it !

So good you said it twice

I didn't realize it got that cold in Greece.

I might put the techstation outside to see what it'll do

And you are right about that
I used to swim in winter too, but then got too busy with school and forgot all about that

Now that I'm in university though, I have plenty of free time, maybe it's a good time to start thinkin' about that again

P.S. I haven't eaten gyros since August 25th, I have been running on a diet since then And it's not the most beneficial food for one's health, unfortunately I might say 'cause it's damn' tasty

LOL, we gotta stop with the off topic already Ripped the thread off

I don't have enough time to bench or even clock but here's a temp shot

I'm running some old hardware at this point lol. Holding out for cheaper LGA 1366 mobos and chips.

Well I'm not exactly on air cooling, however I am using outside air to cool so I thought it was pretty relevant!

the radiator fans are blowing the cold air into the case so it cools the whole computer down so I guess it is sub zero air cooling, just not air cooling on the CPU.

Dumped the HTPC outside tonight as a teaser, no benches yet just a quick snap to see what kind of passive temps I could get.

Problem is, the Blood Iron won't let my fan come on until it hits 25C (not even close! :p) and I can't locate a 3 pin to molex adapter right now. Maybe tomorrow night

Here are some completely passive temps, BIOS pictures only because nothing reads below 0C in Windows. Tried OCCT, Realtemp, CoreTemp, Speedfan and Everest.

Having problems with the hard drive freezing up, need to get a long SATA cable for nights like these I might pick up a handwarmer pack tomorrow to keep it toasty so I can play for more than 5 minutes before it turns to a brick

This is a power cord after a few minutes out the door.

The case, literally after 2-3 minutes outside. My fingers froze to the side after a split second of contact

-26C on air? Some sort of record maybe :p Hopefully I can toss XP on there and get some fun benching done for my own satisfaction, damn reviews hogging all my time!

    Cool

Been waiting for some really cold weather, and managed to go below -20c a few times, but unfortunately I wasn't there So have some -11c benches instead

    Ran 3DMark 05, 06 and Vantage:

No shot of 05, since it won't show scores in the end, but it ran a 31679

Best Pifast ran on Core4 (0-7) at 21*195.75 ~4111mhz @ around 10.189s, I'll go under 10 after I get a proper CPU cooler and have enough time to tweak out my crappy G.Skill 1333mhz CL9 sticks

Temps: Real vcore was 1.35, enough for 4.1ghz pifast and 4ghz 3dmark's. Could do more with more voltage, but I'm waiting for proper cooling

    And here's the system:

All fans on max, and yes thats a 197CFM monster delta sucking the crap out of the case

3 mounth ago in italy, near milan i had some fun with p3 coppermine 650mhz, samsung (capable of 175mhz cas2 with +/- 6volt ), fullmodded tusl2-c and delta 150cfm on the cpu.
ambient temperature around -2° (look at the snow on the tree).

Did some airaction with my 920 @1.458, was not really subzero
But he's running really good, don'T test more under cold.... He don't love LN but ok

He's a B-batch running better under air unless LN

Have you guys ran how long outside those computers? Has there been any stability issues due coldness, like in mobo/graphic/memory perhaps?
