I'm eagerly awaiting results. I have everything but the board picked out for my new rig -- since I'm getting an 8800GTX, I'm thinking the 680i SLI boards should be my board ... but I need to see actual, document results first.

It looks passive too, that means less noise! If this does 500FSB, It'll be my new board. Sick of the DS3. I hope performance isn't so bad like the 965. Hmmm, can't wait to get this.

P5B-Deluxe no longer restarts. It's your board.

Has anyone seen any front-on pictures of the any 680i board? I'm looking to see what chipset waterblocks would fit on the NB/SB on the system. The on-edge shot that is the only one that I've found you can't really tell any details.

Thanks, from that it looks like the SB is normal so the DD maze4 would fit on it, but the NB is ?!?!? I can't tell if it is normal size with just an oversized sink on it or if the holes are actually spread apart that a maze4 can't fit.

If it doesn't break any NDA's can anyone say if normal NB waterblocks work or which ones do/dont?

    (rumours from the IQ)

    http://www.theinq.com/default.aspx?article=35493

Nforce 680i is a great overclocker

    1200 MHz+ memory

WE WANTED to know which is the best overclocking platform for Intel's Core 2 Duo and some people who are really into it said we should maybe wait for the Nforce 680i motherboards.
They should be the fastest for both memory and CPU overclocking and the boards should emerge in the following days.

We know these will end up faster than both Intel's high-end chipset 975X and the P965 although we know it will have a rough ride to beat RD600 from DAAMIT.

It supports three PCIe slots, two for graphic cards and one for physics, I guess they saw this one from ATI. We know that the memory can hit 1200MHz if not even higher. The boards based on it should be announced on the 8th, together with the new Geforce thingummy. µ
