    Thanks Virtualrain

If the Storm rev2 and MCW60 have the same thread I would expect the EK rev 2. G 1/4 barb to fit equally well on both..wonder why some have said the EK barb pulls out easily on the MCW60 but not the Storm rev2

    I have a question.

Who was the numbnuts who designed these EK or DD barbs. Why in the world would they make them ONLY 1/4" in length when they could easily have made them 1/2" length.

All my Swiftech stuff uses 1/2" plastic barbs, so if i try to use a DD or EK barb it feels like it is only going in 2 turns : (...

Who can i address this to?

Who cares how long it is. One clockwise turn, or two, I could care less. Either way is gives you a water-tight seal. The threads are mismatched anyway, if they were any longer, you wouldn't be able to use them on your swifty blocks.

I do, because when you use the DD or EK barb in your system with only 1-2 turns into plastic parts you are in trouble.

Especially when i have them in a $300+ Motherboard, $400+ GPU, $300+ Ram and one leak and you are History.... I don't want to put myself in that predicament. If you do go right ahead.

Yes both of those barbs fit the threads on my Swifty stuff just fine.

You don't need teflon tape for barbs with O-rings. DD barbs work find with MCW60. Just get a pair of each barbs and see which you like better.....
