Done:
Its a shame to think that I was hitting the motherboard limit of my adaptor card with 5 going on 6 which is a shame Hopefully my i7 setup might allow it to go a bit faster
Well I was thinking along those lines and then I managed to pick up 8 Seagate Cheetah 15k.5 73Gb drives for less than 4 SSD drives and to which I'll have a super fast 4 drive raid 0 setup, one for Windows and general stuff and the other for just games..
So not only will I have a fast enough disk access for any hard work I might come across, but I'll have performance that doesnt slow down or degrade after so many read/writes
The weird thing so far, with two 4 drive Raid 0 setups, I can manage a 900Mb/sec and more average read but even more interesting I tested them simultaneously which I was very impressed but shocked at at the same time
^ corross from luxx ?
nice MFT results
now can you match my mft pcmark05 ??
Yep NapalmV5, thats me.
I havn't tested PCmark05 yet, but it should be really fast - as yours.
give it a try.. going by the results above.. id say you should be able to match
I love Photoshop

Yeah, they are extremely nice. I'm quite satisfied. I believe all the ultradrive ME models, which is what these ones are, have 64MB cache. The drives came with firmware 1370 but I flashed them to the 5-29 update I found at super talent site. I really was torn between the 32gb and 64gb models. I finally ended up rationalizing the 32's by deciding that if I really liked these 2, I'll add a third next month, and that's probably exactly what I'll do.

Hey Guys,
My first benchmark, I'm running two Velociraptors 300GB in Raid-0:
Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P80 Asus P6T Deluxe w/ OC Palm| TFC X-Changer 360 x2
Intel i7 965 Extreme Edition | Swiftech Apogee GTZ
Asus GTX 295 x 2 (Quad-SLi) | Koolance VID-NX295 x 2
Velociraptor 300GB | Swiftech MCP655 Pump x 2
G.SKILL PI Black 6GB | EK 250ml Reservoir
Tygon 7/16 Tubing | Enermax Revolution 85+ 1050w Fully Sleeved
My first HDD benchies! I have 3x WD black 640's. I have 2 raid partitions using intel matrix. first is 60gb raid-0 for OS second is 1200gb raid-5 for programs/documents. i will be adding a fourth WD 640 black in about a week.

I do not know what happened, but those results do not make any sense.
