    XTREME budget RAM *F2-6400PHU2-2GBNS* 1x2GB 4-4-4-12 @ 933mhz w/ 2.35vdimm $$148.49$$

Well I gotta say, this is pretty sweet.

I was playing around with the cheap G.SKILL at newegg, and man it isnt bad! Usually on XS you see the best-of-the-best, but usually it costs an arm and a leg... or you are stuck with absolute cr*p ram if you try to save a few bugs... here is a good in-the-middle. Its screaming "im not micron" but at 150, who cares? I mean, really... decent D9GMH costs 250-300 and runs just a hair faster @ this voltage? TALK ABOUT VALUE!

    Anyway, im just impressed!

It only liked up to 2.35vcore, no more. I didnt spend a TON of time trying to get every last mhz out of it, just set 4-4-4-12, and everything else on auto. Cranked it up to 950, failed prime, backed off a hair to 933 and has been rock solid. This was tested on a DFI infinity 975 mobo.

I dont know what the IC is, they are rebranded G.SKILL, maybe GS TECH can fill us in.

    Anyway, Ill shut up now-

Definately a great value at $150. This would be a good match for those running an E6600 or E6700 on a P5W DH (or any other 975X chipset). 1:1 performance is tough to beat @ $150 for 2GB of DDR2...

I think you will be a little растрерян, when you will see results SpecTek PC4200. Kit of two 1Gb coasts the same 150$, but on it they at 2.4v take a mark in 500MHz. Screenshots I shall add later.

i dont know what that g-skill is but i got Kingston value with PCS (powerchips) that do 470-480mhz with 4-4-4-12 with 2.4, a member of my home country forum had TakeMS stick with same chips that did 500 at those timings, not a bad value at all
