    Mushkin HP5300 on P5W64

Trying out these Mushkin HP series PC5300 sticks...

Quite nice in the $200 price range. I'm starting to see more and more $450 sets of sticks so a set at half the price is refreshing. They appear to run fine up to about 490-500 @ 4-5-4 and a bit above 510-520 at 5-5-4. This works well enough for gaming and "non xtreme usage".

When I get my P5B Dlx back from RMA I'll try these in there...

1:1 I was held back by the low FSB ability of this P5W64, 420ish...

    With an E6600 or 6700 this'd be nice for 3.8gHz 24/7...

    try cas 5-4-4-10 or close.

cas 4 doesn't mean much to me personally, but ras to cas 4 is a must for me...

The ones i have are elpedia

They work well for what they are, i got the 512x2 for 22 A/R from newegg when there wasnt a memory shortage.

your money is in better hands with micron for ~50-75 dollars more

    I suspect elpida also...

Kunaak, ras to cas 4 is ok, just costs a few mHz worth of OC. Right now I'm gaming on it at 405 1:1, 4-4-4 on 975x.

For the $$ it's just fine.

I've tried from 2.1-2.4v and don't notice much of a difference.
