congrats team !!
Its a long time to #2, so we're gonna have to step it up. I'm trying to get at least one node going 24/7.
I'm having problems with my ISP again, during the night the connection drops every 2 minutes.
I'm still losing mine every 3-6 hours even though it's running very cool now.Originally Posted by hixie

Hixie's problems are from his ISP, not router issues like yourself. BTW, any word on the smoothwall rig?Originally Posted by Movieman

Not many people have a 1.7Ghz P4 willamette router with a P4C800 Deluxe mobo

I'm trying to get 1mil a day with one rig set to 1536/1024 and 30 crawlers. I'm still working on tweaking it to its max. I think I'm almost there (700k so far for 30 crawlers is pretty good ).Originally Posted by Movieman
That's some good tweaking, I have 105 Turtles crawling around the net, and i'm afraid one of them ended up in Dave's router, and jumped his a$$.Originally Posted by moddolicous
I must call some of them home, and tweak them better.

Once I think I've done a good enough job tweaking the client, I'll probably make a thread or something and post the tweaks there. Wont be tonight as I am going up to connecticut for a crew race. Probably tomorrow.Originally Posted by Frisch
One day on the Netgear RT314 router and I am not a happy camper.
Speed tests show a 7mbit/1.2mbit line and thats consistant across 5 tests at different sites including one with Verizon using only their internal lines done with their tech watching it.
The Netgear is stable but useless for running MJ12.
My RT314 has a firmware rev#325 dated 2001 and thats the last time Netgear updated it. They've changed from a company that made good parts to one that makes $40.00 plastic garbage.
Yesterday am just before I made the change I updated the firmware on the actiontec but not tested yet.
That's my next test.
