    [UNI] X38 Efficiency: Asus P5E3-Dlx/STT SSD/Cellshocks DDR3

    have some time to play.
    let's show some x38 efficiency
with Supertalent SSD 16G and Cellshocks DDR3-1800 involved

    500*7 2000-765-18-1T 32m = 13min10sec, almost beat some 3.6G results

something shocked me is that... my qx68, which can do max-SS-470fsb on other mobo.
boot 500fsb directly and running damn stable. and max-SS-520fsb.
    with only vnb=1.57v , vpll=1.84v

    Wow, that's some efficiency!

What chances does one have to hit DDR2000 with such timings and what Vdimm did you use?
    Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z | FX 8350 | 2x4GB Trident-X 2600 C10 | 2x ATI HD5870 Crossfire | Enermax Revo 1050watt | OCZ Vertex 3 60GB | Samsung F1 1TB

    looks very nice VictorWang

i would be very pleased, if you can you tell me some settings that you did in the mainboard bios...

I have the same mainboard and cellshock ddr3-1800 and can´t reach 450 fsb with 1:2 ddr3-1800. My cpu do 530 mhz fsb.

You can use my bios template:

    FSB Strap to North Bridge:
    PCI-E Frequency:
    DRAM Static Read Control:
    DRAM Dynamic Write Control:

    Ai Clock Twister:
Ai Clock Skew for Channel A:
Ai Clock Skew for Channel B:
    Transaction Booster:

    CPU PLL Voltage:
    FSB Termination Voltage:
    North Bridge Voltage:
    South Bridge Voltage:
    Clock Over-Charging Voltage:
    Sorry for my bad english...

You can use my bios template:

FSB Strap to North Bridge: 266fsb
    PCI-E Frequency: 108mhz
DRAM Static Read Control: auto (>1600 should be auto)
DRAM Dynamic Write Control: auto (>1800 should be auto)

Ai Clock Twister: auto (havent studied yet )
Ai Clock Skew for Channel A: auto (havent studied yet )
Ai Clock Skew for Channel B: auto (havent studied yet )
Transaction Booster: auto; enable ,lvl=1 (it's actually tRD=performance lvl)

CPU PLL Voltage: 1.6~1.9v (depends on CPU)
    FSB Termination Voltage: 1.4v
North Bridge Voltage: 1.47v~1.57v (x38 is hot, do not set too high unless u wanna hit 600fsb)
    South Bridge Voltage: auto
    Clock Over-Charging Voltage: 1v

0504 has cured most, but not all of the 4x1GB memory problems on this board and improved 2x1GB performance also.

I can't even hit 475 mhz fsb. The best I can do is 450mhx fsb with current setup.

I've hit DDR3-2000 with my P5K3 and Supertalent memory but not with tight timings...best achieved was 8-7-7-20 with 2.1 VDIMM.
