    Testing Team Xtreem DDR2 2gb 667 3-3-3-8

    Well... He we go.

First of all, I was testing the max spi 32m stable FSB that bad axe no vmodded gives at 1.725 vMCH.

    · 455 FSB 1.725 vMCH 3642 MHz 8x multiplier 1067 strap

    · 460 FSB 1.725 vMCH 3680 MHz 8x multiplier 1333 strap

Then I started to benching the memory at 2.2v in BIOS. That's the max i got:

    · The max frequency at 3-3-2 timings 2.2v was 340MHz

    · 500 were reached with 5-4-4. Not quite good, but was very low voltaje

    · 510...

    · 520...

    · 530 5-5-4...

Well... not quite impressive ... Then I done the pencil mod and raised vdimm a little. My first results were taken at real 2.2v, then 2.3v and finnally 2.4v. Today I'll try with higher volts, but seems kinda hard when the resistor is BLACK of all the pencil it has.

    · 500 4-4-4-12 real 2.2v

    · 520 4-4-4-12 real 2.2v

    · 540 4-4-4-12 2.3v

    · 547 4-4-3-4 2.4v

Not bad, btw i need more. I need at least 562MHZ spi 2m stable and 570MHz spi. Ill try giving 2.5-2.6v I hope i is safe enough with active cooling for daily usage.

    Regardas

You have one nice badaxe there, mine even on water cooled chipset at 1.725v bios max only gives me 440fsb max on 1067fsb strap heh

I purchased AM2 setup just to test memory. CPU + Mobo price is same as memory price I paid for ($187), lol.

    2.45V (2.5V selected in BIOS)

Excellent result OP. Are those results under 1333 strap? (Other than the ones you specified)

Also is there any other timings you need to change to see any effect of CL5? My sticks max out at 1140MHz / CL4 / 2.5V and CL5 doesn't do a damn thing for the frequency.

    Thanks,

@eva2000: Its an OEM model, I think that with vmch mod (pencil haha ) and watercooling would do nice FSB.

@OPB: Sorry bro! I have no idea! haha, My friend predator flashed em, and I didnt do anything since it.

@Lopri: Nice memory you got there! My results are in 1067 strap.

    Well, update time:

    · Max Super-pi 32m: 4-4-3-4 550 MHZ 1100 Strap 1067

    · Max Super-pi 1m: 4-4-3-4 560 MHZ 1120 Strap 1067

    · Max Super-pi 8m: 4-4-3-4 555 MHZ 1110 Strap 1067

    · 3Dmark 03: 4-4-3-4 550 MHZ 1100 Strap 1067

    · 3Dmark 05: 4-4-3-4 550 MHZ 1100 Strap 1067

***: HIGH performance bump on 3d03 at 550mhz vs 4ghz 450mhz at memory screen (around 600 points).
    ALL tests at 2.5v vdimm.

    Thanks erwinz!

Seem I have a problem with the mobo right now... or with the memory. I was trying at 5-5-5-15 setting for get the max memory clock but the system freezed exactly at the same clock that with 4-4-3-4, 562 MHZ. Damn, maybe the max FSB with 4:5 with the bad axe i got is 450!.

Hehehe, Im still looking for the pencil vmod! :P

Yesterday flashed another bios and pass spi 32m at 575, but with crappy timings (5-5-4). Maybe the memory does not scale more, or maybe it need more volts. The vmch mod will help a lot, I'm sure.

    Regards mr eva2000 ^^
